FAQ – Permanent Jewelry
What’s permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a custom-fitted bracelet, anklet, or necklace that is welded closed instead of using a clasp. This means it stays on until you decide to remove it.
Does it hurt to get permanent jewelry?
Not at all! The process is quick, painless, and completely safe. The welding spark never touches your skin.
What is gold-filled jewelry?
A thick layer of real solid gold bonded to metal. Won’t rub off like plating. Looks and lasts like solid gold but without the big price tag.
How long does permanent jewelry last?
With proper care, it can last for years. However, factors like lifestyle, activities, and exposure to chemicals can affect its longevity.
What if I need to remove it?
You can easily cut the chain with a pair of scissors or wire cutters. If you’d like it put back on, we can re-weld it for a small fee.
Can I wear permanent jewelry through airport security?
Yes! TSA security scanners will not require you to remove your jewelry.
What if my chain breaks?
Chains are delicate by design to prevent injury if snagged. If it breaks, keep the chain, and we can re-weld it for a small fee.
Is permanent jewelry safe for everyday wear?
Yes. You can shower, swim, and sleep in it. However, avoid harsh chemicals (like chlorine, bleach, and strong cleaning products) to keep it looking its best.
Can I get multiple pieces at once?
Absolutely! Many customers get matching sets or stack multiple bracelets for a layered look.
